It was an honor to dedicate James Stockton to the Lord at Mill City Church this past weekend. Congratulations Ashley and Brandon, what a joy to celebrate this new life with you! We stand with you as you raise him in the ways of the Lord.

Dedicated 1.31.16 // We dedicate babies out of a heart of gratefulness to God, recognizing that children are a gift from Him, much like Hannah dedicated her son Samuel in I Samuel 1:26-28. Baby dedications happen at Mill City on the third Sunday of every month. To schedule a dedication email: info@millcitychurch.org

Current Series: (RE)PRAY

When you pray, what do you say? Are you paying attention to what comes out of your mouth? What are you asking for? Are you saying what you have always heard?

Join us as we take a look at what we pray, what the first followers of Jesus prayed, and how our view of prayer can be expanded and shaped by God's purposes and desires.

21 Days of Prayer and Fasting // 2016

We believe that prayer should always be our first response, not our last resort, so we begin every year by setting aside twenty-one days to pray and fast as a House. Our desire is to draw near to God, orient our hearts around His, and ask Him to do what only He can do in the year ahead.

Join us as we fix our eyes on Jesus in prayer, fasting, and worship. We will gather to pray together every weekday. Details are as follows.

        January 4-8             6:00 to 7:00AM

        January 11-15         noon to 1:00PM

        January 18-21         5:00 to 6:00PM

Our last gathering will be a time of worship and prayer led by our worship team.

        January 22              7:00 to 8:15PM

All gatherings on the second floor in the South Auditorium (Organ Recital Hall) at the University Center for the Arts (1400 Remington Street). The time of worship and prayer on 1/22 will be in the West Auditorium.

No childcare available, but all kids are welcome.

For more information on fasting, check out the Prayer and Fasting Resources post.

Mill City at Your House

Every Sunday of the year we gather at the University Center for the Arts (UCA) to lift up the name of Jesus. We worship and study the Scriptures together knowing how vital it is to center our lives around the hope, life, and purpose found in Christ. On December 27, 2015 we are doing the same thing, just in a different location...at your house. Think church in your PJs. Instead of meeting at the UCA, our hope is that you will gather with your friends and family and engage God wherever you are. A video experience with worship and teaching from our team will be available on our website so you can join in from any computer or mobile device at any time starting on December 27. Click HERE to watch.

We will be back at the UCA on January 3, 2016 with our normal gathering times of 8:30, 10:00 and 11:30AM.

Current Series: Give Like God

As we enter the season of Advent we turn our hearts toward the gift of Jesus to the world. His entrance into the brokenness of creation brought peace, joy, love, and hope. This gift changed everything. God's gift was generous and gracious, merciful and massive, undeserved and unexpected. So what would happen if we started to give like God? Join us as we talk about the gift God gave and the ways we can be like Him.
